The '''RSR Type C'N2 Class K1''', also known as the '''Class K1''', is a powerful mainline 0-6-0 tender engine used for hauling goods trains and designed to compete with the [[Class B2]] and [[Class H2]] locomotives. It is faster and more powerful than a B2, and grips better than an H2 when working on grades. It features new chuffing sounds and introduces the Caledonian Blue paint. It is the main-line counterpart to the [[Class K2]], with a cab and no integrated saddle tank.
