== Description == The RSR 1BST Class A, more simply known as the Class A, had been a favored choice among players during the initial months of Steam and Steel's release. It served as a small yet economical engine, providing a second option for players starting their journey. At a reasonable price of $10,197, it had been a go-to selection for many players during the early to mid-game stages on all maps. Despite its compact size, the Class A had boasted impressive speed, reaching up to 26mph, making it reliable and efficient for various tasks. With a weight of only 21 tons, it had been the lightest engine available. The engine had a coal capacity of 320kg, which could be expanded using a tender. Furthermore, its tractive effort of 15,522 had showcased its exceptional strength, balancing power with its swift performance. On 31/07/2023, it was replaced with the Class A1 and the Class A2 in the shop. Although it is no longer in the shop, the Class A still exists for those who had bought it. Its scarcity has made it a valued collector's item, even more so in its unique blue shade of default paint. == Trivia == * This was the first engine to be removed from the shop in Steam and Steel. * It got replaced by the Class A1 and the Class A2. * It was removed due to issues with the coal bunkers not displaying the coal mesh, leading to players never truly knowing how much fuel it had. Thus it was converted into two separate tender engines. * This was the smallest engine out of all 4, with a weight of just 21 tons. * It was one of three tank engines, the others being the Class C and Class E. * It had the same speed as the Class E, at a steady 26 MPH. == Gallery == <gallery> File:Class A.png File:Screenshot 2023-07-21 012025.png File:Screenshot 2023-07-21 012047.png File:AA1A2.png|By Miranda Blues.
