Description

[edit | edit source]

"A small covered storage for aggregated material. Boosts a nearby industries storage of Gravel, Coal, and Ores by 35"

The storage bunker is a covered structure that the player can place strategically within their maps. It raises the storage capacity of various ores and other aggregates. This increases a connected industry's existing item cap from 100 to 135, allowing the industry to keep producing without pause. The player can stack this effect by adding more storage bunkers (e.g., 100 -> 135 -> 170). The Storage Bunker is compatible with Clay, Gravel, Coal and Sand, as well as Iron, Copper, Bauxite and Gold Ore.

With this production cap increase, the industry's supply and demand figures also go up. For instance, if an industry's combined Buildings raise the production cap to 500, the "highest" demand shifts from 1-5 to a broader 1-25 range. Similarly, "high" demand now spans from 26-150 (from its prior 6-30 range), showcasing a more strategic supply and demand implementation from the player.

How to place

[edit | edit source]

When you're preparing to position your building, ensure that you're in proximity to the industry you intend to enhance with the structure. Access the build menu, navigate to the "Buildings" category, and select your desired building. As you get ready to place it, ensure that the arrows originating from your industry are directed toward the building (as depicted in the image below) and that your industry is highlighted in red, indicating its selection.

After confirming that you've appropriately designated the desired industry, proceed to locate your preferred placement spot. Click and hold the mouse button to initiate rotation of the building, then release the mouse button to finalize its placement. With the successful placement of the building, your industry will now experience the advantageous effects of this new building. File:Highlighted.jpg
