KdNS 2-Axle Tender

Description

The KdNS 2-Axle tender is mainly used and built for smaller tender engines, such as the Class A1, and A2, Class A0, or Class F. Just like its RSR counterpart, it can also be used with tank engines to give extra coal capacity for those long hauls and long distance trips.

Trivia

• It was the third tender to be added to the game.
• It is currently the second smallest tender in the game.
• It is heavier than its RSR counterpart, though not by much.
• The KdNS 2-Axle Tender was originally intended to replace the RSR 2-Axle Tender, but the latter was kept due to player demand.
• Like all tenders in Steam & Steel, the tender's orientation is not important. It is capable of refueling an engine from either side, including two engines at once. Coupling a tender between two locomotives is an effective way to effectively double your pulling and braking power without needing to buy a second tender.
