Class A2

From Steam & Steel

Description

[edit | edit source]

The RSR Type 1B'n2st Class A2, commonly known as the Class A2, holds a significant position as one of the primary choices for railroaders in the early stages of Steam and Steel. With an attractive price tag of $5661 with the Trainworks or $7604 without, it is a budget-friendly engine making it an ideal entry-level choice for players.

In the very early game, the Class A2 proves its worth as a reliable workhorse. Its faster speed enables it to reach up to 26 MPH, ensuring seamless transportation operations. Moreover, being the fifth lightest engine available at a mere weight of 15.8 tons, it exhibits exceptional agility and speed on the tracks.

To accommodate coal, the engine relies on a tender for assistance, as it cannot store any coal on its own.
